"Geo invites curiosity and interaction, encouraging viewers to step closer, shift their perspective, and watch how the light subtly changes across the surface, bridging the gap between art and utility in ways that few other objects can." d5 Design Magazine

With my table lamps, I saw how well light and ceramic work together. Light brings out the beauty of glazes. When I began thinking about a piece for the wall, I wanted a design that would interact with light in a different way from the table pieces. Geo comes from more of a traditional tile form than from the vessel tradition.

Dimmers allow light levels to be adjusted from soft to bright, making it possible for Geo to create its own environment.

One thing that I think is so successful with Geo is how good it looks when the light is not on. It reads as a sculptural ceramic painting with its own life.
